Matcha is a small, quiet instrument — most things happen with a single tap, and the Guide walks through all of them. If something isn't working, or you just want to say something, email is the fastest way to reach us. We read every message.

Common questions
How do I record a loop?
Press play so the drums and bass come in, then tap the red circle. It captures your next four bars. Tap it again to stop.
Where are my saved loops?
Open the library from the top-left icon on the playing screen. Loops are stored locally on your device — the pack, key and tempo are kept with each one.
How do I share what I made?
From a saved loop you can export a video with the reactive ink-wash visuals, then save it to Photos or send it anywhere. Matcha only asks for photo-library permission at the moment you save a video.
Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-up, no login and no cloud. Matcha works entirely on your device.
Do my loops sync between my iPhone and iPad?
Not in this version. Loops are stored on each device on its own. Cross-device sync may come in a later update.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 17 and later.
Is my data private?
Yes. Matcha collects no data and has no tracking or analytics. See the
Privacy Policy for the details.
