Type letters and words, hear every one spoken aloud in a crunchy retro voice.
A playable love-letter to the 1978 spelling toy that taught a generation to read — rebuilt for iPhone and iPad.
Type letters and words, hear every one spoken aloud in a crunchy retro voice.
SpellSynth says a word — you spell it. Three mistakes and it gives you the answer, then tries a new one.
The classic hidden-word game. Pick letters until the word reveals itself; six wrong guesses and it's over.
Listen-and-repeat for pronunciation practice. Hear it spelled letter by letter, then say it aloud.
SpellSynth ships a bundled AUv3 instrument extension, so the same voice engine loads inside your favourite DAW. Type any word in the plugin and it's spelled back live, letter by letter. Sixteen parameters cover pitch, speed, bit-crush, sample-rate reduction, filter, envelope, LFO, and stutter; six factory presets (Default, Robot Voice, Tape Warp, Telephone, Tempo Stutter, Classic 1978) give you a starting point. MIDI Learn binds any CC to any knob and rides along with the preset. Stutter locks to the host tempo, and a Letter Map mode maps A–Z onto MIDI notes 60–85 so you can sequence spelling right in your DAW. MIDI pitch bend is supported.
