Common questions
Which devices does Lumood support?
Any ARKit-capable iPhone running iOS 17 or later. A LiDAR sensor is not required — devices that have one simply detect surfaces a little faster.
Is any of my data collected?
No. Camera frames are processed on your device and never uploaded, and your projects and photos stay on your phone. There are no accounts and no analytics. See our Privacy Policy.
The app can't find my room or surfaces.
Move the phone slowly across the ceiling and walls, and make sure the room has enough light and some visible texture. Very dark or blank surfaces are harder to detect.
My saved room won't line up when I reopen it.
Point your phone toward where you were standing before so the app can recognise the space. If the room has changed too much, you can re-place your lights or start fresh — your fixtures and settings are kept either way.
Where are my photos saved?
Snapshots live inside the app on your device, and you can share them to Photos or any app from the share sheet. Deleting Lumood removes them.
