Y3K Cam does not collect, store, sell, or share personal data. The app has no accounts, advertising, analytics, cloud storage, or tracking technologies. Photo processing happens on your device.
Photos and camera
Photos you capture or select are used only to provide editing, filtering, framing, sticker, and export features. They remain on your device and are not transmitted to us or stored on our servers. We do not operate servers that receive your photos.
Permissions
- Camera: used only when you choose to take a photo inside the app.
- Photo Library: add-only access is requested when you save a finished image. Apple’s system photo picker lets you choose images to edit.
You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
Sharing
When you choose the system share sheet or Instagram Stories, iOS transfers the finished image to the service you selected. For Instagram Stories, the image is placed on the system pasteboard with a five-minute expiration and then opened in Instagram. Your use of another service is governed by that service’s own terms and privacy policy. Y3K Cam does not receive information about your sharing activity.
Settings stored on your device
Preferences such as sound, haptics, watermark, animation speed, and whether you have seen onboarding are stored locally using iOS settings storage. They are not linked to an identity and are not sent to us.
Children’s privacy
Because Y3K Cam does not collect personal data, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents and guardians can manage camera and photo permissions through iOS Settings.
Changes to this policy
If the app’s data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy details will be updated before the new practices take effect. The effective date above identifies the current version.
