Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the SoundMess Lab application ("SoundMess Lab", "the app"). By downloading or using SoundMess Lab you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Licence

SoundMess Lab is licensed to you, not sold. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use SoundMess Lab on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with Apple's Media Services Terms and the Standard EULA that governs App Store applications.

2. In-app purchase

SoundMess Lab offers a single optional "Pro" upgrade as a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase:

The price is shown in the app at the time of purchase in your local currency. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Restore purchases. A previously purchased Pro entitlement can be restored inside the app via the "Restore purchases" button on the upgrade screen.

3. Intended use and limitations

SoundMess Lab is provided for general measurement, education, monitoring, and entertainment purposes. It is a consumer application — not a certified Class 1 or Class 2 sound level meter, and it is not intended for regulatory compliance, medical diagnosis, occupational-safety decisions, or any other use where an error could cause harm. You are responsible for validating any measurement before using it to make a decision with real-world consequences.

4. User-generated content

Any recordings or files you create with SoundMess Lab stay on your device. You are solely responsible for the legality of the content you record and for obtaining any consent that may be required by local law before recording other people.

5. No warranty

SoundMess Lab is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall SoundMess Lab, its developer, or its contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the app.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
