Frequently Asked Questions

Why isn't the face match working?

Make sure your face is clearly visible, well-lit, and facing forward. The app works best with a single face in the frame. Remove sunglasses or masks for better accuracy.

Does the app upload my photos?

No. All face analysis happens entirely on your device. Your photos are never sent to any server. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Which devices are supported?

KpopLike requires an iPhone running iOS 17 or later.

Can I use a photo from my gallery?

Yes! You can either take a new selfie with the camera or select an existing photo from your photo library.

How accurate is the face matching?

KpopLike uses InsightFace W600K, a state-of-the-art face recognition model. Results are based on facial feature similarity and are meant for entertainment purposes.

How many idols are in the app?

KpopLike currently features 300 idols from 46 groups including BTS, BLACKPINK, aespa, Stray Kids, NewJeans, SEVENTEEN, IVE, TWICE, ENHYPEN, (G)I-DLE, and many more. We plan to keep adding new idols.

How do I remove ads?

A premium, ad-free version is planned for a future update.
