KpopLike ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your information.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal data. KpopLike is designed with a privacy-first approach:
- No user accounts or registration is required.
- No personal information (name, email, phone number) is collected.
- No photos or facial data are uploaded, transmitted, or stored on any server.
2. Camera & Photo Library Access
KpopLike requests access to your device's camera and photo library solely to allow you to take or select a photo for face analysis. These photos are:
- Processed entirely on your device using on-device machine learning (CoreML).
- Never uploaded to any server or cloud service.
- Discarded from memory immediately after analysis is complete.
3. Face Data
The app uses on-device facial recognition technology to compare your face with K-pop idol reference images. All facial feature analysis, embedding computation, and similarity matching happen locally on your iPhone. No face data, embeddings, or biometric information is ever transmitted off your device.
4. Third-Party Services
KpopLike uses the following third-party service:
- Google AdMob — for displaying advertisements. Google AdMob may collect certain device information and advertising identifiers as described in Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device's Settings > Privacy > Apple Advertising.
We do not use any analytics, tracking, or other third-party SDKs beyond AdMob.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, share, or transfer any personal data to third parties. The only data shared with a third party is through Google AdMob as described above.
6. Children's Privacy
KpopLike is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through AdMob, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
7. Data Retention
Since we do not collect or store any personal data, there is no data to retain. Photos used for face analysis are processed in real-time and immediately discarded from device memory.
8. Your Rights
Since KpopLike does not collect personal data, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete. You can revoke camera and photo library access at any time through your device's Settings.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
